To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Chelmsford and the Neighbourhood  OLDER NEWS ITEMS - NEWS of APPEAL Successful Campaign against Essex County Council (ECC) Appeal On the 10th June 2009 ECC submitted their appeal, local residents received notification in the post (see link opposite). This was after the committee had met with ECC and presented their Business Plan. We were very disappointed by this development as we were hoping to come to an amicable agreement about the future of the Community Centre. Subsequently many residents sent letters of support on our behalf, combined with the statement from MLCC, see right, and our Draft Business Plan, we convinced the Planning Inspectorate to turn down the appeal.
