Goat Hall Ward - CRIME Data
Goat Hall is the largest ward within the Chelmsford urban area and
incorporates a large swathe of open countryside to the south west of
the town. This area includes Chelmsford Golf Club. The built up
segment of the ward includes an area known as the Tile Kiln estate, a
residential neighbourhood built in the 1960's and 1970's, including the
Mildmay Junior and Infant Schools. The northern segment of the ward
provides a gateway into Chelmsford town centre and comprises older
housing and a number of commercial uses that include a Tesco
superstore and the Miami Hotel. St Johns Hospital, the town's
maternity unit, is also located within the ward, although this site is due
to be redeveloped for a mix of housing and commercial uses in the
near future.
